From 2016 to 2019, I wrote Julia’s widely praised Logie Awards appearances. With the whole TV industry watching (and judging), each one was a live-to-air, high-stakes, ‘sink or swim’ moment. Luckily, Julia is such a brilliant performer that we could take big creative swings; one year she ‘got everything wrong’, another she burst into a musical number. We even pulled off a wordless tribute to Costa’s beard.
